SUBJECT MATTER OF THE CONTRACT
The service covered by this contract consists of the rental of automated lockers for the temporary storage of luggage and personal belongings, located at Calle de la Aduana, 17, 28013 Madrid.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICE
What is Star Lockers?
Star Lockers is a 100% automated luggage storage facility that allows you to rent a locker at any time of the year, quickly and easily.
How it works
The process is as follows:
- The user makes a booking through the website
- Receives by email the access codes for the premises and the locker
- Accesses the premises using the provided code
- Stores their belongings in the assigned locker
- Can access the locker as many times as needed during the contracted period
Available locker sizes
Star Lockers offers three types of lockers:
- M (30 × 30 × 50 cm / 45 L): Ideal for two backpacks, a motorcycle helmet or clothing items.
- L (40 × 60 × 50 cm / 120 L): Perfect for 2 carry-on suitcases or 1 carry-on suitcase + 2 backpacks. Most popular option.
- XL (60 × 90 × 50 cm / 270 L): Enough space for one large suitcase.
Important: The price is charged per locker, not per item. You may place several suitcases, backpacks or bags inside the same locker as long as they fit comfortably.
Opening hours
The premises are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
BOOKING PROCESS
Advance booking
It is recommended to book in advance to ensure locker availability. It is also possible to make a booking on-site by scanning the QR code available at the premises door. The premises provide free Wi-Fi to facilitate booking management.
Availability check
When initiating the booking, the system will display real-time availability of the desired locker size.
Rental duration
Lockers are rented on a full-day basis, with a minimum of 1 day and a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
Booking confirmation
Once the booking is completed and payment is made, the user will receive by email:
- Booking confirmation
- Premises access codes
- Locker access codes
- Assigned locker number
- Usage instructions
PRICES AND PAYMENT METHODS
Prices
Current prices are displayed on the website when making a booking and include all applicable taxes.
Payment methods
Payment is made at the time of booking confirmation through the following means:
- Credit/debit card
- Other electronic payment methods available on the platform
The charge will be made at the time of booking confirmation.
Invoicing
If you require an invoice, you must request it at the time of booking by providing your complete tax details.
BOOKING MODIFICATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS
Modifications
Users may modify their booking (dates, locker size, etc.) provided the modification is made at least 24 hours before the start of the booked service and subject to availability.
Cancellations
Users may cancel their booking at any time. The full refund (100%) of the amount paid will always be processed within a maximum of 24 hours from the cancellation request.

PERMITTED AND PROHIBITED ITEMS
Permitted items
You may store anything that fits inside your locker, provided it is not on the list of prohibited items.
Prohibited items
The following items are not permitted:
- Illegal items or items whose possession requires a licence without authorisation (weapons, ammunition, drugs, stolen goods, demeaning content, etc.)
- Hazardous or polluting substances (flammable, chemical, toxic)
- Animals or other living beings
- Food, except packaged food items with no risk of spillage, staining or odours
User responsibility
The user is solely responsible for the contents of their locker and declares that they will not introduce any prohibited items. Star Lockers reserves the right to inspect the contents of lockers where there is reasonable suspicion of a breach of these conditions or upon request by the competent authorities.
SECURITY AND LIABILITY
Security measures
Star Lockers features:
- Video surveillance system connected to a Security Monitoring Centre
- 24-hour connection with the Police
- Alarm and intrusion detection systems
- Access control via personalised codes
Limitation of liability
Given the characteristics of the service and the security measures implemented, Star Lockers is liable for damage to items stored in lockers, provided that:
- The damage is attributable to Star Lockers
- A police report is filed within 24 hours of discovering the incident
- The value of the affected items is evidenced by invoice, purchase receipt or similar documentation
Recommendations:
- Exercise extra caution with important personal documents
- Do not store cash, jewellery, electronic devices, important documents or storage media containing sensitive data
- Personal documents and valuables are stored at your own risk and responsibility
USER OBLIGATIONS
The user undertakes to:
- Provide truthful and complete information during the booking process
- Not introduce prohibited items into the locker
- Make proper use of the facilities
- Comply with the operating rules of the premises
- Close the locker properly after each use
- Remove their belongings before the end of the contracted period
- Not transfer their booking to third parties without authorisation
END OF SERVICE AND ABANDONED ITEMS
End of the contracted period
The user must remove their belongings before the end of the contracted period. After the rental period has elapsed, Star Lockers may open the locker and remove the items.
Abandoned items
If 7 days after the end of the contracted period the user has not retrieved their belongings or contacted Star Lockers, the items will be deemed abandoned and Star Lockers may dispose of them in accordance with applicable legislation.
In the case of abandoned items, Star Lockers will attempt to contact the user using the details provided at the time of booking. Additional storage and handling costs will be borne by the user.
DATA PROTECTION
Personal data provided by the user will be processed in accordance with the provisions of our Privacy Policy, available at www.starlockers.es
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
In accordance with the provisions of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights (as implemented in Spain by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 of 16 November), the right of withdrawal shall not apply to:
- The provision of services related to leisure activities, where the contract provides for a specific date or period of performance.
Therefore, once the booking is confirmed and where the service is to be provided on a specific date, the right of withdrawal shall not apply. However, the user may cancel their booking in accordance with the provisions of Section 6 of these General Terms and Conditions.

In accordance with consumer regulations, Star Lockers makes official complaint forms available to users, which may be requested at:

Alternative dispute resolution
In accordance with Regulation (EU) No 524/2013, the European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
Without prejudice to the above, the user may also submit their complaint to consumer arbitration boards or other competent alternative dispute resolution bodies.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
For the resolution of any dispute arising from the interpretation or performance of these General Terms and Conditions, the parties expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Madrid (Spain), expressly waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply to them.
However, if the user qualifies as a consumer under applicable legislation, the Courts and Tribunals of the consumer’s place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
AMENDMENT OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Star Lockers reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions. In the event of any amendment, the new version will be published on the website indicating the date of the last update.
The applicable conditions will be those in force at the time of confirmation of each booking.
SEVERABILITY
If any clause of these General Terms and Conditions is declared null or unenforceable, such nullity shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses, which shall remain in full force and effect.
